Am i running bad or just played it wrong? I have 7h2h in BB. No raisers I check my option. Flop comes Jh5h5s, 1st pos bets I raise on the cum,he calls , the turn is Kh. I hit my low flush and we are now heads up.
First pos. bets I raise to protect my flush, he 3-bets I shove , he calls with 5s9s for a set of 5's. Just need the river NOT to pr board and I am golden of course Jack of Spades hits river to fill him up.
Anything i could of done differently?

Don't raise the flop, then check/call the turn and river? It's tournament play and your flush is weak ... nevermind the paired board.

Unraised preflop, your opponents can have any possible range of hands. K5, J5, also possibilities. I play flushes and straights extremely soft on paired boards. In this case you both hit the board and the money was going in... I would have check-called (depending on amount) when the flush card hit, and likely check-folded to a large bet on the river with a double paired board. If he makes a small bet I call but stay alive.

No way to put him on a hand there, but at least you got your money in marginally ahead.

the board did not pair till river as we got all the $$$ in on the turn and the river paired. I guess in that spot he is only calling or raising with a SET or bigger flush and heads up I did not put him on flush.

1. Fold to flop bet.
2. Or since you raised on flop (I like this btw), then call on turn and river since he's still taking lead.
